The 94th American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting was held January 4-8, 2015 in Phoenix. The theme of the 2015 meeting was “Fulfilling the Vision of Weather, Water, and Climate Information for Every Need, Time, and Place.”
The AMS meeting hosted the 11th Symposium on New Generation Operational Environmental Satellite Systems, which highlighted many of the development activities, program science and user-readiness preparations underway in the GOES-R and JPSS programs. Several members of the GOES-R and JPSS teams presented at the conference.
