South African Railways Road Transport Services: ERF Lorry-Bus (fiction)

            The lorry-bus was a fascinating feature of the South African Railways Road Transport Services fleet for many years. They were typically built on a rugged, lorry chassis with various combinations of passenger and mail compartments and freight platforms. This fictional version has a more bus-like appearance, with a relatively small freight platform. Some buses and lorry-buses hauled freight trailers, further increasing their load-carrying capacity (13-May-10).
