The Entrance to the Marsh - a photo on Flickriver

            The San Joaquin Wildlife Refuge is an artificial marsh developed by the Irvine Water District so that they would not be flushing clean -- and thus sterile -- water into the Upper Newport Bay.  I lead a hike here every month.

I did something experimental here:  I used a yellow graduated filter.  I think it gives the sky an interesting hue.
