Recinto megalitico di Monte Baranta - Olmedo

            Questa imponente struttura, un tempo creduta un nuraghe, sorge  a ridosso di un dirupo, e fa parte di un vasto insediamento risalente al 2400-2100 a.C , di cui però non è del tutto chiara la destinazione. 
E' un recinto con una singolare pianta a ferro di cavallo, unico nel suo genere, costruito con grandi massi di trachite, munito di due ingressi che conducono ad uno spiazzo aperto, una specie di cortile probabilmente utilizzato per funzioni di culto. Il recinto è rimasto volutamente incompiuto proprio in questo lato che si affaccia sullo strapiombo, di fronte a un panorama superbo ed emozionante.
