Once Around The Lighthouse - Bijou Planks 216/366

VRRRRRPP-P-P-PRRMMMMM!!

Lenard Hansen down-throttles his 2017 Ford GT for the upcoming curve. This allows the car behind him to close the gap but Lenard just smiles. It's going to open into the last straightaway and allow him to really demonstrate how much faster his GT is.

Behind him, Fabian Kelley grimaces. His Aston Martin DBS V12 is performing as expected, but the Ford has proven unexpectedly fast.

Fabian cringes as he thinks back on his harsh words at the T-Square parking lot. What had he said? "Ford = Fix Or Repair Daily"? Or, "Found On Road Dead"? And how Lenard had grinned and challenged him.

"Well, let's go then. Once around the lighthouse."

Now, it's clear. Fabian's Aston Martin is wicked fast but it cannot match the GT in acceleration or cornering.

Maybe Fabian can buy Lenard a burger. Anything to keep Lenard from laughing and telling everyone this story. But... that seems unlikely.
