The bleakness of Winter - a photo on Flickriver

I'd spotted a few interesting looking singular trees of late with possibilities for this kind of shot, while in the area today I decided to drive back this way and investigate this one, great cloud movement today so ideal, although the ground was far from it and I ended up covered in mud getting a few shots here, but hey ho... like the picture suggests, it was absolutely freezing as well!
