            Lepus europaeus - brown hare going ape in the snow.  The hares are really bouncing now and I watched 6 of these beauties cavorting for about 30 minutes.  Of course there is a serious side but they appeared to run for the joy of it and were totally unconcerned that I was there.  Thank goodeness for digital - ISO was 1600 owing to low light and fast speeds.
