01.02.20 Esslingen FB Be 4/6 72+73 - a photo on Flickriver

            Covering some 'missing bits' of track in the Zürich area on the afternoon of 1 February 2020 saw me cover the 17 km long metre gauge line, Forchbahn (FB). The fleet is owned by Zürich's public transport operator, Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ). 

Reaching Esslingen by bus, the light railway is reserved track until it enters the suburbs of Zürich where it reverts to street running and becomes part of the city tram system. The route ends up at Stadelhofen.

Seen here are sets 72 "Maur" and 73 "Zürich" waiting departure of train 214, 13:32 Esslingen to Zürich Stadelhofen.
