UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter - a photo on Flickriver

            Sitting on the runway area of the Airfield at Ft Campbell, KY, I found this UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter.  The Black Hawk began service with the U.S. Army in 1979 and replaced the UH-1 "Huey".  The general mission of the Black Hawk is to provide air assault, general support, aeromedical evacuation, command and control and special operations support to combat troops and stability / support operations.

Three bracketed photos were taken with my 18-300mm Nikkor lens and combined with Photomatix to create this HDR image.  Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop with a conversion to Black & White being done with Nik Silver Effects Pro.  Additionally, the 'green' tint was added with Silver Effects Pro to give an 'Army' feel to the photo.
