Depot at Bertram Texas - a photo on Flickriver

Kay and I arrived in Bertram with little time to spare for the light was soon to fade but oh my goodness my eyes did not deceive me that there was an amazing little depot there and it was open! I barely let Kay park the car before I was hurrying over to check it out and as I spoke with the station master she said that the Austin Steam train would be coming through in about 10 minutes and that is why the depot was open! Kay will have to tell you if I jumped for joy, I might have but cannot remember:) I have to mention that the train is not being pulled by a steam engine, the one that ASTA owns is currently undergoing extensive repairs.
