60088_2105_Toton

            Derelict DB Cargo 60088 has not moved from this spot in Toton yard I believe since it was moved over from Toton depot in May 2010, eleven years ago, 2nd May 2021. 

Locomotive History
60088 was built at the Brush Falcon works, Loughborough in 1991 and was officially accepted by British Rail in January 1992, allocated to Toton MPD for coal duties. It was first stored on the 30th June 2004 but reinstated six weeks later in August 2004. It was stored again on the 20th June 2005 and reinstated three months later in September 2004. Eight weeks later on the 20th November 2005 it was again stored with engine faults and has now been out of service for well over fifteen years. It was moved out of the depot complex into the Up side yard in May 2010 where it has remained ever since.
