            What's the big deal about Thor's Well? It looks pretty safe to my wife and Brook The Amazing Wonder Dog.

As a disclaimer: Most of the time, this is an incredibly dangerous spot to photograph. Even during a "minus tide", as when this picture was taken, you should never turn your back on the ocean. Thor's Well is a vertical cave that drops about 20 feet down to the churning ocean below. Falling in at any time would probably mean death. In short, always respect the ocean, and give this spot an extra dose of respect.
