The Hue and Cry after Asbo No 2 - a photo on Flickriver

            Another photo from our man on the ground in Hackney - a little newsworthy in that it may well be the first instance in which the UK's Art Police unit have been directly involved  in creating a piece, whilst engaging in the newest form of community policing. Although the piece only uses official colours, it has already caused an outcry from local street artists because they believe that police interventions like this will provide writers with an unfair advantage.

A spokesman for the Art Police made this statement today to Prank Sky Media: "Some of us may greet the new Art Police pieces with suspicion, but graffiti is arguably a great world art form...after a favourable reception from writers in Hackney, we are extending the Art Police's role in providing inspirational techniques and training to aspiring writers and look forward to seeing the initiative rolling out into other boroughs in the capital".
