We say goodbye to the Fanal National Park for now, just as we started our visit there. With an old laurel tree standing alone in the field.
Now that my photo series from Madeira is almost over, there is only one photo left, I'm beginning to feel a bit melancholy. This series has allowed me to extend my stay from just a week to almost a month. With every image I showed, I was back there and was able to relive it all. But now it's almost over and I don't know when I'll be able to travel to this amazing island again. There is no question for me that there will be another visit. And then I might even see the fairy forest in the fog.

Wir verabschieden uns vorerst vom Nationalpark von Fanal so, wie wir unseren Besuch dort begonnen haben. Mit einem alten Loorbeerbaum, der allein auf dem Feld steht.
Jetzt, wo meine Bildserie von Madeira fast beendet ist, es ist nur noch ein Foto übrig, kommt bei mir schon etwas Melancholie auf. Durch diese Serie konnte ich einen Aufenhalt von nur einer Woche auf fast einen Monat ausdehnen. Bei jeder Aufnahme, die ich gezeigt habe, war ich wieder dort und konnte das alles noch einmal erleben. Doch nun ist es fast vorbei und ich weiß nicht, wann ich das nächste Mal auf diese beeindruckende Insel reisen kann. Das es einen weiteren Besuch geben wird, steht für mich jedoch außer Frage. Und dann sehe ich den Feenwald vielleicht auch einmal im Nebel.
