Kasteel Ter Beck.

            Ligging: Elsegem (Wortegem-Petegem), Oost-Vlaanderen.
Vroeger omgracht kasteel opgetrokken in 1687 wellicht ter vervanging van oudere hoeve zogenaamd "Goed ter Beken".
Midden 19de eeuw gelegen op rechthoekig eiland, omgeven door nu grotendeels gedempte grachten en een grote tweedelige rechthoekige vijver.
Eertijds met watermolen, voor het eerst vermeld in 1421 en gesloopt circa 1820.
Flankerende schuren en stallen uit eind 19de- begin 20ste eeuw vormen met vroegere kasteeltje een U-vorm.

Location: Elsegem (Wortegem-Petegem), East Flanders.
Former moat castle built in 1687, perhaps to replace an older farm so-called "Goed ter Beken".
Located in the mid-19th century on a rectangular island, surrounded by now largely filled-in canals and a large two-part rectangular pond.
Formerly with watermill, first mentioned in 1421 and demolished circa 1820.
Flanking barns and stables from the late 19th and early 20th century form a U-shape with the former castle.
