Yes, The Alien Was Right There! - a photo on Flickriver

            No, it’s not a Photoshop tweak! As crazy as it may seem, that person (an alien for sure!) was near the cliffs, taking photos (and a bath of icy salt water, certainly!). And the column of water gushing from the ground into the air behind him is real as well!

This amazing place is known as Bufones de Prias, and located in the Astúrias region (northern Spain), near Llanes. 

Here we can feel the tremendous power of Nature and how small we are when facing it. The waves are terrifying and crash violently against the cliffs. The noise and the curtain of water they leave in the air are persistent. 

The force of the waves is such that they cause the creation of cracks and caves in the cliffs, which keep growing by erosion until reaching the surface of the soil above. Then, when the strongest waves crash against the cliffs, the sheer volume of water under such a tremendous pressure enters those crevices down below and is projected upwards until reaching the surface of the soil, spouting in a column of salt water and air. The visual effect of seeing them going up behind the cliffs is impressive. And it has even more impact, as it is accompanied by the movement and noise of the crashing. waves. 

Experiencing it you can only feel deeply impressed!
