I headed back to NYC last month with a few friends—this time by plane instead of train since I unfortunately learned the hard way that a train is a lot less like Harry Potter and a lot more like a glorified bus. Although I lugged my gear around the city the whole time, this time around I made a point to take more in through my eyes than with my lens. I did, however, manage a few snapshots, scarce as they were. Above is the lovely Nina, who just landed a job with the UN. Whoop whoop! We quickly became friends after she and her sisters booked a session last year. So, see? Business and pleasure DO mix. At any rate, we were reluctantly dragged to Chinatown by another friend during the trip. I’m glad I can say I’ve seen it, but I’d be okay with never venturing back. Too.Many.People.

On a side note, although I’m “back,” I’m still not doing a great job keeping up with flickr happenings. Life is busy. But I’ve decided not to let the fear of not commenting on everyone’s posts keep me from ULing. So if you’re commenting merely for the sake of giving to get, your efforts might be better sought elsewhere. And if you’re wondering why I haven’t been to your stream yet, I’ll be around this weekend. I miss you guys! And lastly, I’m no longer going through contact adds. I’m sorry! It’s too much to keep up with. Feel free to message, however, as I do try quite hard to keep up with those. =)
