Went out at 10 am looking for the Chestnut Winged Cuckoo at our local Botanic Garden. Met some birders who mentioned that it has not shown for 2 days. An ex-pat informed me that there is Purple Heron At Eco Lake and off I went and here is a shot to share.

Did the craziest thing yesterday and I was out for 8 hrs shooting. Took pics of birds and flowers. Most rewarding was waiting for the Purple Heron to fly and managed to grab 6 shots before I left.
