Banded Woodpecker - a photo on Flickriver

Banded Woodpecker

            There is a fruiting fig tree at Eco Lake and it attracts all the birds from the vicinity to congregate there especially for their morning feed. Others have spotted a pair of Flameback woody. 
There are Starlings, Green pigeon, Black Nape Oriel etc.
Was lucky this Banded Woody flew down from way up the tree  to eye level around 15 ft away. Pure luck.

I love both my Sony & Oly system. Both have their strengths and weakness and have finally decided that I am keeping both.  So I have them in the boot of the car.
