Battery Of Batteries - a photo on Flickriver

            A macro view of a line of AAA batteries. The frame represents a span of 1⅞ - inches across. 

Strobist/technical info: 
The scene is a 4-image focus stack composite. It was illuminated by a single Nikon SB900 speedlight and a steady blue LED. The SB900 was placed camera left, slightly in front of the batteries, and fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄32
 power through a Neewer 24" soft box. 

The blue LED was shown from camera right and used to illuminate the background. An ambiant overhead room light created the warm highlights. 

The SB900 was triggered by PockerWizard Plus Xs. 

Lens: Tokina AT - X M100 AF PRO D (AF 100mm f / 2.8 Macro).
