Boulevard of Ulterior Motives - a photo on Flickriver

This is an impressively long bridge running parallel to a wide set of train tracks on the night I walked all the way to the Vattenfall Power Station; this is overlooking the Jungfernheide Bahnhof (Train Station). That night every single one of the lights along the bridge were out and I couldn't believe how eerie an atmosphere this created, with just enough light from the street below to partially illuminate this environment. It was all rather surreal to experience. Perfect for Dark City Deutschland!

I took this on the way back home and it must've been around 4am which meant there was no human traffic to interfere with the shot, popping this into Mono I feel really put the final touches on what I feel is almost a nightmarish image if one can imagine being there, in an alternative dimension and being lost, let that feeling come over you and you catch the essence of what this is all about.
