APPLES - a photo on Flickriver

APPLES

            I took a few images for this still life varying the lighting, compostion, and camera lens. 
The table was showing four legs, but I deemed the legs in the back distracting and removed them. The cloth was desaturated a bit and lessened in intensity. The pitcher is the focal point becuase of course it is the lightest object in the composition. But….because of those beautifully red enhanced apples the eye rests on the apples and then drops down to the table with the help of the angle of the cloth and back around again. I have used texture in the background and color and lighting adjustments throughout using Photoshop, ACR, Topaz, Nik, and Tony Kuyper software.
