Camp Yachats

            We found a delightful place to stay for several days at the Oregon Coast near Yachats. Called Camp Yachats, this place was adjacent to Cape Perpecua National Forest. We found ourselves surrounded by this beautiful forest of ferns and Sitka spruce just a step away from the cabin we slept in. We lived amid a lovely garden tended by the landowners of this place. There were trails that meandered from the open spaces into the rainforest, and we explored the forest with awe as we looked through the lush green landscapes.
Yachats is pronounced:
