Splitting

            On the left, the former Monessen Southwestern railway line now used by Wheeling and Lake Erie to haul coke from Monessen.

On the right, the extension of the Monessen Southwestern trestle that originally connected to the lower deck of the Speers Railroad Bridge. The west side of the bridge was never connected, but the original intention of this design was to connect the MSW with the Allenport Sheet Plant. The connection on the East Side, shown here, was removed some time ago.

The bridge above was built by the P&WV some time in the late '20s/early '30s. Currently it is still in use by the WLE Railroad.
