Rax, Aufstieg / Ascent - a photo on Flickriver

            Gleich hinter dem Ottohaus beginnt der kurze Anstieg auf den Jakobskogel, einen der meistbesuchten Gipfel der Rax. Der Steig führt ganz nahe an die Wandabbrüche des Rax-Plateaus und bietet dadurch grandiose Aussichten auf die umliegende Bergwelt. Auf diesem Foto mühen sich gerade meine Begleiter Karin, Günter und Ursula zu mir herauf, müssen sich auf das Steigen konzentrieren und haben daher keinen Blick für die herrliche Aussicht. Aber gleich !

Close behind the shelter Ottohaus begins the short ascent to the Jakobskogel, one of the most visted summits of the plateau mountain Rax. The path guides very close to the edge of the wall escarpments of the Rax plateau and offers herewith sublime outloos to the surrounding alpine world. On this photo struggles my companions Karin, Guenter and Ursula up to me, have to concentrate with their steps and have therefore no eye for the wonderful view. But shortly !
