La Bessa - a photo on Flickriver

La Bessa

            L'Uja di Bessanese 3604 m, chiamata anche dai locali “La Bessa”, una delle più belle e caratteristiche vette delle Valli di Lanzo, vista dal Pian della Mussa appare come un possente torrione che calamita lo sguardo.

La via normale di salita si sviluppa sul versante Ovest, francese, che si raggiunge valicando il col d’Arnas 3010 m. Gli ultimi 300 m di dislivello sono i più impegnativi, il tratto più delicato una paretina di II grado di circa 20 m, attrezzata con un paio di chiodi per l’assicurazione.
