The old wharf - a photo on Flickriver

The old wharf

            Not sure how old this wharf actually is, but I did my best to make it look pretty old and rugged. This is down at the marina/docks/wharf in St. Philips. Went out just after the rain and thunder storm to see if we'd get some nice cloud formations and maybe a nice sunset. Didn't really get to shoot much of the storm, but did see a rainbow.

Anyways, I wanted to make sure I had a good foreground element and I love it when the water makes that misty/ghostly trail so I used a long exposure on a tripod with my sigma 10-20mm. Made the wood really stand out with some clarity in lightroom 4 and did some temperature adjustments. Other than that not too much.
