New Perspective

            After getting to grips with handling the drone I decided to stop off near Tarmac's Viewpark site for a shot of 6B37 to Oxwellmains. 70805 is pictured at the head of the train prior to departing 10 minutes after this shot was taken.

The Viewpark terminal is extremely difficult to get a shot of due to its location, so I was keen to see if a shot would be possible with the drone. Despite the height the vegetation is still somewhat intrusive - I was just lucky the loco wasn't any further forward and some kind of shot was possible.

A shot like this is what sold me on trying drone photography. With a 12mp sensor I'm not going to get the same image quality I get from the 90D, but I feel this is offset by being able to view locations not normally accesible and try some new angles in some of the more well known spots.
