Female European Stonechat - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken at Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Wood (Longmoor to the locals birders).
This is the third year in succession that a pair have spent the late autumn and winter in this location (I'm assuming it's the same pair).
The female is usually the most approachable, with the male being a little more reticent, and that is true again this year.

This proves how obliging the female was, it remained for long enough to shot this after I had taken my still shots. I cut it short  has it became very windy which was effecting stability, the bird was still there.
