Tree Pipiit (Anthus trivialis) - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken at Warren Hills LRWT, just outside Coalville in North west Leicestershire.
Apart from it being a Local Nature Reserve, it's also of geological importance, it has a ridge with a 60/80ft sheer drop the other side running for some of it's lenght of very ancient rocks.
From a distance I spotted a bird sitting on one of the boulders when it flew up about 20/30 ft above, parachuted down and either landed back on the boulder of behind it, Tree Pipit.
I climbed up and took up a suitable position and it kept on doing it's display, so I climbed closer and closer (taking shots) until I was just under the ridge, where I could see a tree as tall as the ridge infront, so this is where the bird was going. 
I repositioned and waited for it to display again and hopefilly land in the tree top, which it did and these are some of the shots taken.
