Launch of STS-130 from Space View Park

            I had two camera bodies for the launch, one of which I put on a tripod to get a timelapse shot.  I did some test shots and purposefully set it up to be underexposed knowing that the engines of the Space Shuttle Endeavour would provide added light.  I didn't anticipate just how much light.  It's amazingly bright and I ended up with a somewhat overexposed photo.

But the aspect that I wanted to come out well did work more or less as planned.  I wanted to capture the crowd watching the launch.  I like how all of the cell phones and cameras raised in the air were caught by the timelapse.  

Just an amazing experience.
