Church of Scientology (non-PCV) "KJD 23P" (most probably YWY 830S, I think)

            Bit of an unusal one this - not even considering the interesting partial open-top conversion. KJD 23P was of course an ex London Transport DMS Fleetline that for many years was owned by the Labour Party as their campaigning "Battle Bus". Said DMS found its way to the Scientologists; but the reg was being carried by this Bristol VR when photographed. I think she was previously YWY 830S (ex West Yorkshire). However other pictures on Flickr, taken a week or so after this, show her once again with the original mark. And another Flickr posting taken in 2001 shows the DMS still with them and still carrying KJD 23P.

So, had there been some rather unholy plate swapping going on? Answers on a postcard...
