Sun and Shadow

            Lighting in the Columbia River Gorge can be a challenge, even in the summer months. High clouds from a long departed storm still cover the crest of the Cascades. Dark shadows cover parts of the gorge, but not here! Sunlight bathes the slopes of Wind Mountain and the curve east of Home Valley, WA. BNSF 8535 west catches the sun as it approaches Home Valley.
