Gaming dice - a photo on Flickriver

Gaming dice

            Some gaming dice from my son's set. Gaming dice are referred to as "D" followed by the number of sides so a typical six-sided die would be called a "D6".

The shape of three of these dice, which consist of equal size sides all of which are equilateral triangles, are classed as "regular deltahedra". The D4 tetrahedron, the D8 octahedron and the D20 icosahedron are arranged in this photo to make a triangle of dice on top of the dice bag.
