NS 186 012 @ Breda Prinsenbeek - a photo on Flickriver

            Een dikke maand na de uitstap naar Aachen en omgeving, stond de volgende volledige "De Haeck brothers" fotodag geprogrammeerd, de derde van het jaar ondertussen. 
Oorspronkelijk was het idee om richting Rijn af te reizen - we zijn hier dit jaar nog niet geraakt - maar aangezien het aantal voorspelde zonne-uren voor Remagen dag na dag naar beneden werd geschroefd terwijl er voor de ruime regio Dordrecht wel overvloedig zonnig werd behouden, besloten we er een dagje Brabantroute van te maken. Of we het ook zonnig zouden houden?

In Breda Prinsenbeek was er nog geen vuiltje aan de lucht - op een paar hoge wolkensluiers na dan. Het enige dat niet echt wou langskomen was cargo, we hielden ons dan meer bezig met de ICD vanuit Amsterdam en IC-treinen vanuit Den Haag naar Eindhoven.
Om 7u40 deden de foto-apparaten voor de eerste keer klik, toen deze ICD uit Amsterdam in top/tail compositie onze lenzen voorbijtrok op weg naar zijn eindbestemming.

On the 31th of May, we went to the Netherlands. Our plan was to take pictures of the freight trains on the so called Brabantroute and in lack of them, there were always the nice passanger trains of the relations Amsterdam - Breda (ICD) or Den Haag - Eindhoven (IC) with ICR compositions with a E 186 in front and at the back.
Such a train is seen here at Breda-Prinsenbeek in the morning of the 31th of May.
