2024-10-07 (04) Château de Chantilly (XVIe-XIXe siècles)

            La partie ancienne subsistante est le "petit château" (~1560) au premier plan, le "grand château" au second plan, détruit à la révolution, ayant été reconstruit sous la IIIe république par le Duc d'Aumale, fils de Louis-Philippe exilé sous le second empire, à qui le château avait été légué par le dernier prince de Condé, et qui le légua à son tour à l'Institut de France 
Avec sur la droite la statue équestre d'Anne de Montmorency, Connétable de France (i.e. chef suprême des armées) sous le règne de François Ier, dont la puissante famille fut la première propriétaire du domaine, avant les Condé, et qui fit construire le petit château
