Dark Hollow Falls

            Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.  We've been wanting to hike to one of the waterfalls along Skyline Drive for some time, but usually have the dogs with us and they are just not allowed on the trail.  We finally made the trip leaving Teddy and Echo with the sitter (they enjoyed lots of playtime with other dogs, so don't feel too sorry for them) and braved the hike.  The walk to the waterfall was all downhill, steep, and took about 40 minutes - the walk back to the car was WAY more challenging and Paul had to indulge me with a few breaks to catch my breath!  The views at the falls were well worth it, but my fitbit gave me the equivalent of 66 flights climbed for the effort - ouch.
