Into the Woods (Mud Lake) - 20241012-01

I am testing out a new camera that I have bought for travelling.  Weight restrictions for carry-on means that I cannot take multiple lenses with me, and with Canon not making a single lens that will do wildlife, landscapes and street scenes, I decided to purchase the Sony RX10.  A couple of my Flickr friends also use this camera and I've been impressed with their images.  With a zoom range of 24-600mm, eye capture and smallish size, it looks like it will do the job.  

I have always loved this section of the Britannia Woods, with the soaring trees, soft light and quietness reminding me of cathedrals.  The light filtering through the trees was simply beautiful and provided an excellent low-light test for the new camera.
