阿里山的美中外皆知,其中最佳美景,日出,雲海,晚霞,森林,與高山鐵路被歸類為阿里山五奇
當然也不是只五奇才美,春天的花季更是阿里山的重頭戲,尤其是3月中旬的吉野櫻花季,那更是美的無法以言語形容......

吉野櫻花學名Prunus xyedoensis,屬於薔薇科落葉喬木,別名染井吉野櫻,日本吉野櫻或東京吉野櫻,原產地為日本,吉野櫻花季為3月中旬,花瓣顏色為白中帶一絲粉紅,很受一般民眾喜愛,在台灣以阿里山種植最多,樹齡最久,目前本省已普遍有種植,武陵農場亦有少數,北部淡水天元宮則是另一個新興賞花景點,每當吉野櫻花盛開,幾乎到了人車擁擠的地步,可見吉野櫻花受歡迎程度.
