👨‍🚀👨‍🚀 Here we go again for episode ✌ of this spacewalk season. The setup for this one: we get into our suits, depress, go outside and move to the far port side of the Space Station to finish installing the first solar array from Wednesday. Afterwards we will start on the second one. It will be another long day for everybody, but another amazing day! It is a huge team effort each time and couldn't be happier to return outside with my buddy Shane, with Mark and Megan taking care of suit and airlock operations. Aki, Oleg and Pyotr will handle all the rest, and as always our guardian angels at-a-distance will be advising from mission control. esawebtv.esa.int

👨‍🚀👨‍🚀 Sortie extravéhiculaire, épisode 2. ✌️ Ça va être assez semblable à ce qu’on a fait mercredi : habillage, dépressurisation, sortie. Ensuite translation (pas de voyage en bras robotique cette fois-ci) jusqu’à l’extrémité bâbord de la Station pour déployer le panneau solaire de mercredi, et enchaîner directement avec l’installation du second. S’il nous reste un peu de temps, les équipes au sol nous donneront des tâches supplémentaires – elles en ont toujours une ou deux sous le coude. C’est tellement long de se préparer pour sortir de la Station qu’on essaye de faire le maximum de travail une fois dehors ! Encore une longue mais incroyable journée qui nous attend, et qui serait impossible sans l’aide des équipes. Megan et Mark pour nous aider avec les scaphandres et le sas, Aki, Oleg et Piotr qui gèrent tout le reste tout seul, Shane comme coéquipier de sortie une fois de plus, et tous nos anges-gardiens à distance au Centre de contrôle.
