1948or9or50 Ford F-1 - a photo on Flickriver

1948or9or50 Ford F-1

            These 3 years were almost identical but there are subtle clues.  The '48s had red pinstripes on the grille bars but that's no help here.  If the wheels are black, it's a '48 but that's no help here.  If the wheels are same color as the body, it's a '49 or '50, but that's no help here, and if it's a column shift (3 on the tree), it's definitely a '50 but that was a mid-year change so it could be a '50 with a floor shift.  If it only has a driver side taillight, it's a '48 but the passenger side was an option so it could still be a '48.  The fact that this one has only a driver side windshield wiper makes me say it's a 1948 but don't quote me on that.   I hope that cleared up a few things for you.
