Mk2 Ford Consul,Felixstowe - a photo on Flickriver

This is my Dads 1960 Ford Consul Mk2 Lowline 1703 TC.
He spent all last week sorting it out for the Felixstowe Classic Vehicle run.I've driven this,and whilst it was an experience,the nicest thing I can say is,it wasnt really designed for todays motoring!
Its a lot of metal,I think it weighs the same as a 747.
He had probs with it over heating but cured it,they tend to run a bit hot these old lumps.Last year it conked out on the way,and when he lifted the bonnet a huge tongue rolled out,and it started panting!
