The Tower

            Looking straight up the Italiante tower of Morningside United Church on a bright, clear winter day, with a lovely blue sky above.

This is the church that famed Olympian Eric Liddell worshipped in when he was in Edinburgh. His story was the basis for the Oscar winning film Chariots of Fire; the church has a stained glass window in his memory, depicting him racing at the Olympics.
