NMBS 1839 @ Braine-le-Comte 🇧🇪

Het was lang geleden dat ik nog zo een leuke en gevarieerde reizigerstrein had gezien maar toen ik op woensdag 28 april aan het bekende bruggetje in Braine-le-Comte stond, was het nog eens goed raak!

Mijn eigenlijke doel was natuurlijk de ballasttrein van SNCF FRET (hier te zien aan de inrit van Soignies). Toen die dan met een tiental minuten in de plus rond 9u45 mijn lens passeerde en ik nog wat stond na te genieten, gaf het sein in de verte opnieuw 'veilig'. Ik gokte op de graantrein van Europorte maar de trein in kwestie naderde toch net iets te snel voor een goederentrein. Bovendien zag de trein er ook net iets te wit uit ;-)

Dat moest dus wel een reizigerstrein zijn. En gelijk had ik! Het was de ledige rit van de P-trein 7445 Visé - Braine-le-Comte die nu dus als ER 7445 terugkeerde naar Vorst-Rijtuigen.

Mijn mond viel wel open van de samenstelling die dag want met deze trein had ik dus zomaar eventjes alle I-rijtuigen op foto die de NMBS rijk is (OK, er ontbreekt een I11 Bdx maar goed). Eerst zien jullie namelijk een I6 A (in vereenvoudigde New Look), gevolgd door een I11 B en twee I11 A. Daarna volgen vier I10 B (in New Look) om te eindigen met nog eens drie I11 B. Achteraan hielp de 1888 nog een handje. En ook met de 1839 voorop had ik, dankzij de reclame op de zijkant, best een leuke 18 op foto!

Ja, het uitstapje die ochtend was zeer geslaagd ;-)

Since a couple of weeks, P 7445 from Visé to Braine-le-Comte runs with a locomotive class 18 on top and tail.

It's quite easy to combine a shot of the empty stock returning as ER 7445 to Vorst/Forest with the one of the freight train to Quenast (seen here at Soignies) as both trains passed by in a distance of only 5 minutes.

April 28, 2021, locomotive 1839 had the duty to pull his rake of I6/I10/I11 coaches to Vorst/Forest. And so, one can see all modern passenger coaches of the NMBS/SNCB in one train: first an I6 A (simplified New Look), followed by an I 11 B and two I11 A. Further on, there are four I10 B (New Look) and at the end once more three I11 B!
