Lluís Companys i Jover (el Tarròs, Tornabous, l'Urgell, 21 de juny de 1882 - Castell de Montjuïc, Barcelona, 15 d'octubre de 1940). 123è President de la Generalitat de Catalunya (1934-1940). Assassinat pel Règim franquista el 15 d'octubre de 1940 al Castell de Montjuïc.
