            This is the suggested exposure for a full moon (which we don't have here). The rule for a full moon with details is the "sunny f/16" rule: Set your aperture to f/16 and your shutter speed to 1/(your film speed). In digital cameras, your film speed is now your ISO. In my case, the camera set the ISO to 3200, so this exposure is 1/3200 second at f/16. As you can see, it's too dark. Were this a full moon, the exposure would be more nearly correct (some suggest "sunny f/11" for the full moon). Since the moon is about 3/4 full, there's not enough light for the photo, although it's in the realm of fixable.
