saying goodbye is hard...
funny how we can get attached to the strangest things.
I'm such a baby.
I recently said goodbye to my Audi A6 4.2 money pit dream machine. Sad day indeed.
It's soft leather heated seats and moon roof were such a treat. Especially for a the sky watcher and frequent trip planner that I am. If they only made one with 4 wheel drive... oh tisk tisk... it makes me feel good that it went to a very good home. A few descent young fella's, with wonderful music tastes, who plan on lowering it to the ground and decorating it with black rims and a new turbo.... oh, if they only knew the places it's been and the things it's seen.

BTW Just got back from a trip into the ancient forest and it was quite the splendid time indeed. Delightfully chasing Harvest moons around the Sierra's. I'll do my best to post something from the trip... for now... here's one from February of 2011 that I stumbled upon this afternoon while rummaging thru the archives.
