101 110 "50 Jahre Intercity" Treuchtlingen (20314n)

            Das Zugpaar IC 2082/83 war 2025 das letzte klassische Einsatzgebiet der Baureihe 101 und der klassischen IC Reisezugwagen in Bayern. Zwischen Hamburg-Altona und Augsburg wies der aufgrund der meist schon bejahrten Nutzer scherzhaft "Kukident-Express" genannte Zug die beträchtliche Länge von 11 Waggons auf. Am 19. Mai 2025 konnte ich die Leistung kurz nach Verlassen des Bahnhofs Treuchtlingen im tiefen Einschnitt an der markanten Stützmauer aufnehmen. Passend war an diesem Tage auch die Zuglok. Die Modellbahn-Händlergemeinschaft "Wilde 13" hat in Kooperation mit der DB AG anlässlich des Jubiläums „50 Jahre Intercity“ die äußere Gestaltung der 101 110 konzipiert. Auf den Seitenwänden sind Loks und Wagen aus mehreren IC-Generationen zu sehen.

In 2025, the IC 2082/83 train pair was the last classic area of operation for the 101 series and the classic IC passenger coaches in Bavaria. Between Hamburg-Altona and Augsburg, the train, jokingly referred to as the ‘Kukident Express’ due to its mostly elderly users, had a considerable length of 11 carriages. On 19 May 2025, I was able to capture the train shortly after it left Treuchtlingen station in the deep cutting by the striking retaining wall. The train locomotive was also fitting for the day. The model railway dealer association ‘Wilde 13’ designed the exterior of the 101 110 in cooperation with DB AG to mark the ‘50 years of Intercity’ anniversary. Locomotives and wagons from several IC generations can be seen on the side walls.
