Op 29 januari 2010 vond in het Gemeentehuis te Made bij wijze van kennismaking met de gemeentepolitiek een jeuggdebat plaats over, kort gezegd, het afsteken van vuurwerk. De voorzitter was de burgemeester van de Gemeente Drimmelen. De deelnemers werden gecoacht door een zestal echte raadsleden. De deelnemers waren ingedeeld in drie partijen met een verschillend profiel. Het debat was een groot succes en de deelnemers werden uiteindelijk door de burgemeester uitgenodigd om de eerstvolgende vergadering van de echte gemeenteraad als gast bij te wonen.

By way of introduction to the local politics on January 29, 2010 there was in the Town Hall of Made a youth debate about the use of fireworks at New Year's Eve. The mayor of the Municipality Drimmelen was the president of the debate. The participants were coached by six real councilors. The participants were divided into three parties with a different profile. The debate was a great success and finally the participants were invited by the mayor to attent the next meeting of the real council as a special guest.
