Sunset at Phewa tal (in Explore 18-12-2024)

            Of all the places that I have been in Nepal, Pokhara was by far the most pleasant one. 

Although a big city the lake Phewa (tal is lake) and the long boulevard that is next to it, gives it a nice relaxed atmosphere. Many hotels, bars and restaurants are adjacent, and I spent most of the last part of the day in one of my favourite little bars.

Pokhara is also reasonably clean, at least for Nepalese standards. But when I came back the last time from my trip in the Annapurna area, the smog had also invaded here and the hills on the other side were hardly visible (let alone the mountains). But it gave some nice effects during sunset, and for several days there were enough moments to make pictures.
